Blanching involves heating the vegetables with steam at the right time and temperature, followed by rapid cooling to optimally preserve taste, color, texture, and nutrients. After blanching, the vegetables are ready for freezing.
We always strive for the highest quality in our products. That's why all our products are fresh frozen, meaning they are often processed into frozen final products between 3 and 24 hours after harvesting. This rapid processing is crucial to maintain the quality of our products. The result is delicious fresh vegetables packed with nutrients and fantastic flavor.
IQF is a technology where products are individually frozen instead of being compressed into a block. We achieve this through advanced freezing tunnels, allowing us to individually process leafy greens like spinach and kale. Elsewhere in Europe, this technique is scarcely used. IQF freezing is a prime example of our customized solutions. This process ensures our vegetables remain fresh frozen for an extended period. After freezing, the vegetables are ready for packaging.
